Job Description
A Wine Sales Representative promotes and sells wine to our clientele by building relationships, conducting tastings, providing product education, creating sales strategies, and meeting targets, requiring strong communication, sales skills, extensive wine knowledge, and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Account Management : Sell wine portfolios to buyers, manage existing accounts, and identify new opportunities.
- Client Engagement : Build strong relationships, present new wines, and take orders.
- Product Expertise : Provide in-depth knowledge, tasting notes, and training buyers.
- Marketing & Events : Organize and host wine tastings, participate in trade shows, and promote brands.
- Logistics : Handle order placement, ensure accurate delivery, and manage sales data/incentives.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Sales Ability : Proven track record in sales and meeting targets.
- Wine Knowledge : Deep understanding of wine, regions, and production (often preferred).
- Interpersonal Skills : Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building.
- Work Ethic : Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic for independent travel.
