Schedule: 12-hour nights 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: From $54/hr
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Travel Respiratory Therapist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Watertown NY
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited school for Respiratory Care
- NY State Respiratory Therapist License (CRT)
- Certified by National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT)
- Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- BLS certification required
- ACLS NRP and PALS certifications preferred
- Knowledge of acid/base and electrolyte relationships and implications in life-threatening situations
Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage patient ventilator settings using metric measurements and advanced principles of volume flow pressure and time relationships
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and standards
- Monitor patient respiratory status and respond appropriately to changes
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation of respiratory treatments and interventions
