The Registered Nurse in the ICU provides skilled nursing care, case management, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team. The role involves patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and ensuring effective communication with patients and healthcare providers. The RN will float between various ICU units and potentially to MS units to meet facility needs.

Responsibilities:
- Patient assessments and monitoring in the ICU setting.
- Medication administration and treatment planning.
- Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Skilled nursing care for patients with acute and critical conditions.
- Floating between various ICU units (Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, Neuro ICU).
- Potential floating to MS units to support staffing needs.
- Accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- **** candidates preferred (within 75 miles of the facility).
Special Considerations:
- Mandatory float facility; all resources are required to float at the facility's discretion.
- No block scheduling.
- No RTO on weekends or the day prior to or after a holiday.
- No holiday RTO.
Scheduling:
- 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM.
- Every other weekend / 2 weekends per month.
- The first week (orientation and precepting shift) will be on the day shift.
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
- RTO: 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive.
