Position Title: Registered Nurse - Ambulatory

Shift: Days (8×5)
Duration: 13-Week Assignment
Hourly Pay: $60 to $65/hr
Weekly Pay: $2,160 to $2,437.50/week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse - Ambulatory for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY.
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately in the EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
Assist with minor procedures and provide pre- and post-care education to patients and families.
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions to physicians.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to plan and implement patient care.
Maintain infection control standards and comply with all hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Provide age-appropriate care, with a preference for candidates experienced in pediatrics and urgent care.
Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
Current New York State RN license and registration.
Certified in BLS and able to be recertified.
Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level.
Ambulatory or urgent care and pediatric nursing experience preferred.
Experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital highly desired.
Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.
