HR SPECIALIST (LER) Location Odon, IN : Description:
TRISTAR is looking for an HR Specialist to join our team on a contract at Westgate!
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the Paid Parental Leave (PPL) program, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Manage the Quarterly Command Awards program, including:
- Drafting messages for the Commanding Officer (CO) and Technical Director (TD).
- Advising CO and TD on program requirements and processes.
- Collecting nominations for awards and ordering awards.
- Scheduling award ceremonies and preparing program metrics.
- Draft and disseminate messages to the NSWC Crane workforce and Command staff regarding program updates and initiatives.
- Prepare and analyze program metrics for various LER programs to assess effectiveness and areas for improvement.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage programs comprehensively, gaining a thorough understanding of all facets of the LER Branch support.
- Adapt quickly to changing policies and learn new processes as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments and policies.
- Experience in program management or related fields is preferred.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
Bachelor's degree and three years of applicable experience.
Ability to commute to work location.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
