About Us:
The Converse Home is a warm, welcoming, and long-standing assisted living community located in downtown Burlington. Our mission is to provide exceptional, person-centered care in a safe, nurturing environment where residents feel valued, supported, and empowered. We are currently seeking an experienced Med Passer and Caregiver to join our dedicated team. If you are compassionate, reliable, and experienced in senior care, we would love to hear from you.

Position Overview:
As a Resident Care Assistant , you will play a key role in supporting the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents. This position includes assisting with daily care needs, administering medications, offering meaningful companionship, and helping maintain a supportive, respectful community environment. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of older adults.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Administer medications accurately and safely in accordance with state regulations and community policies.
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care that supports dignity and independence.
• Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to nursing staff.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Follow all safety protocols, care standards, and organizational procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with medication administration required; LNA certification is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use a computer for documentation.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
