Job Description

We are a design firm specializing in Residential & Commercial design, located in Sherman Oaks. We are currently looking for an experienced Drafter. The ideal candidate is well-versed in AutoCAD with experience in drafting plans, sections, elevations, details, etc. The ability to read and comprehend architectural and structural drawings is a must. Knowledge of local residential and commercial building codes and the ability to use SketchUp is a plus.

Requirements:

• Thorough knowledge of AutoCAD is a must. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• Ability to read and understand both residential and commercial architectural and structural plans.
• Computer savvy (Outlook, Google Calendar, Microsoft Office, etc.).
• Must be able to multitask, meet changing deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Must be punctual and a quick learner.
• Knowledge of local building codes is a plus.
• Must know rendering.

Hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm.

Work Remotely: No.

Job Type: Full-time.

Salary: $18.00+ per hour/DOE.

Education:

• Associate (Preferred).

Experience:

• AutoCAD: 3+ years.
