Requirements - Provide individual counseling and develop treatment/recovery plans.
- Facilitate therapeutic interactions to enhance patient skill development.
- Implement psychosocial interventions to manage urges and cognitive distortions.
- Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
- Maintain accurate and thorough case records.
- Establish and maintain relationships with patient referral agencies.
- Complete utilization reviews to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree a plus.
- Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in good standing.
- Minimum of two years experience in a behavioral health/substance use disorder treatment program.
