Job Description

Location:
Field-based across assigned UK territory (e.g., North England, South England, or nationwide depending on role).
Role Overview:
The TAVI Area Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales and supporting clinical adoption of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation products within their territory. This role combines clinical case support , training , and commercial sales activities to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales & Business Development
    • Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with regional and national strategies.
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for TAVI products.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within hospitals and cardiac centers.
    • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including cardiologists, surgeons, and procurement teams.

  • Clinical Support & Training
    • Provide on-site clinical support during TAVI procedures after completing training.
    • Deliver product education and training to healthcare professionals.
    • Act as a consultant for medical staff on product use and best practices.

  • Market Intelligence
    • Gather and report insights on competitor activity, market trends, and customer needs.
    • Support tender processes and negotiation opportunities.

  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with Account Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and Marketing teams.
    • Contribute to strategic planning and provide feedback on product positioning.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proven track record in medical device sales , preferably cardiovascular or structural heart.
  • Experience in theatre/implant support and working with clinical teams.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage complex accounts and engage with C-suite executives.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%).
